The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation,

as the lead ministry for Timor-Leste's ASEAN accession,

hosted a technical working group meeting with the AEC Technical Working Group (TWG).

 

 

The meeting was opened by Milena Rangel, Vice Minister for ASEAN Affairs, to prepare core agreements on the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) and the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS).

The active involvement and collaboration of the Technical Working Group are crucial for Timor-Leste to accede to the ASEAN Economic Agreements.
