Malaysia Continues to Support TL Development

His Excellency The Minister of Commerce and Industry Mr. Nino Pereira, along with members of the government, accompanied the Prime Minister (PM), Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, welcome the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz and his team at the Government Palace, Dili. Friday (01/31/2025)
The presence of Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz at the Government House witnessed the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between state-owned company Timor Gap, E.P and Weststar Malaysia on the investment of the Tasi-mane project.
The Prime Minister said Malaysia is willing to cooperate with Timor-Leste, especially to boost the development process in Timor-Leste.
At the same time, the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia also expressed his gratitude because be able to meet with the Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão and the Ministers of Timor-Leste, and also promised to continue supporting development in East Timor.
